Kapa haka is the the collective performing arts of indigenous Maori people of New Zealand, a showcase of their heritage and cultural identity through song and dance. A Kapa haka performance involves choral singing, dance and movements associated in the hand-to-hand combat.

The Haka is a traditional ancestral war cry, dance or challenge from the Maori people. It is a posture dance performed by a group, with vigorous movements and stamping of the feet with rhythmically shouted accompaniment.
