Join us for the launch of our 11th Festival in association with Black History Month Gloucestershire for our traditional opening night of food & performance.
Tangle, an African Caribbean theatre company, bring Water, Bread and Salt an inspiring, informal poetic celebration of Nelson Mandela’s life and times featuring South African acapella songs in two parts, performed by a quartet of actors:
Captain of my Soul – a visceral exploration of Mandela’s personal and private thoughts; and
Watershed – a poetic performances of his public speeches crafted into a dynamic piece of township styled theatre.
Feast on delicious, local Afro Caribbean food & celebrate the opening of the autumn festival & Black History Month Gloucestershire with our community and partners.
