How can artists with mental health issues make work safely?

How can venues or Producers support that process?

How can venues be more friendly accessible to audiences with mental health needs?

What does accessiblity and mental health really mean?

I’m a health practitioner, what’s out there for my clients?

What work is made by artists with mental health issues? is it good? who wants to see it?

Join us for a structured afternoon to discuss these issues and others.

We will be joined by:
Ruth Kapadia, Arts Council England Diversity Manager; Fional Slater, Shape Arts; Create Gloucestershire as part of the Cultural Commissioning Project in partnership with the Gloucestershire NHS Clinical Commissioning Group; Viv Gordon, Meanfeet Dance; Mental Health Service Users.

There will be plenty of break-out time during the event, with cake and refreshments as well as a pre-show supper between 6:00 – 7:30pm preceding the evening’s performance of I Am Joan, a one woman show with live music about recovery from childhood trauma and subsequent mental health issues performed by Viv Gordon.
